Our Paramedics & our EMT's

bulletOur paramedics work closely with the local hospitals from which we receive direct on-line medical control  to best treat our patient while in our care.  Each paramedic unit is equipped with a specially tuned cellular phone and medical high band radio to be able to reach the hospital emergency room doctors in even the most remote areas and advise them of our position and time of arrival as well as gain medical direction on how to best treat each patient while en-route to the hospital. 
bulletWe also operate under our own local "medical director" (who was  a local paramedic prior to medical school) which monitors the quality of our patient care.  Our medical director also makes certain that our service is current on medical updates and training so that the treatment on the way to the hospital is unsurpassed in quality and care!
bulletAlthough nearly all of our staff are employed in paid positions, most of our EMT's and paramedics also volunteer while not on the job.  We feel that this selfless dedication really shows their commitment to the profession that they have chosen.   EMS or Emergency Medical Services is more of a "way of life" as opposed to a job that we do!  We are truly "in it for life".
